The UK continues to spin out promising new bands on a regular basis, so we thought we’d check in and give you an update on the latest sounds and emerging artists to cross the pond. The Kaiser Chiefs and Keane have been around for a few years, but take a listen to some promising young talent in Esser, Jack Penate, and The Rakes. The British are coming, the British are coming!

Whether your favorite character is Dan, Serena or Blair, you can’t deny the appeal of a show based on a bunch of attractive, spoiled, bratty Upper-East Side teens looking for love, sex and trouble in the bars and lounges of Manhattan. The show is a hit and, surprisingly, the music featured is great.
